Frequently Asked Questions

    • A prescription (if needed) for physical therapy from your referring physician, ARNP, or PA.

    • Driver License

    • Insurance information (we will make a copy of your card).

    • In case of an automobile accident or worker’s compensation claim, also bring any case manager or insurance adjuster contact names, phone numbers, and claim number.

    • Please wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your problem areas.

    • We do not directly accept insurance (except Medicare part B and it’s secondary).

    • However, you can call your insurance company and ask them “what are my out-of-network physical therapy benefits?” It is usually a quick call to the number on the back of your card. Many times, they may reimburse you for all or some of the PT services, especially if you have a PPO (instead of an HMO).

    • The traditional insurance model does not allow us to spend the quality 1-on-1 time to feel better faster. While, most PT clinics see you 3xs a week with many other patients simultaneously. We usually see you 1-2xs a week individually for 60 full minutes.

    • You tend to need less visits. In the long run, you may end up spending less with us than a traditional PT practice. Especially, when you consider your deductible, co-pay, and the extra visits needed.

    • We will provide you a superbill during your initial visit to get reimbursed

    • Depending on out-of-network deductibles, most of our patients have been able to be reimbursed between 70-90% of their upfront cost.

    • Please contact your insurance provider if you have additional questions.

  • For patients who do not have insurance, you are able to pay out-of-pocket, due at the time of service.

  • We try our best to accommodate each patient. Because of this, we need as much notice as possible if you are unable to make the appointment. Please provide at least 24 hour notice so we have the opportunity to reach our Wait List. Otherwise, we will have to bill for the appointment.

  • We accept cash, debit card, and credit card. It is our policy that payment is made at the time of service. Your insurance benefits will be determined before your second visit, and you will be informed of what, if any, payment is necessary on that date.

  • Please contact the Operations Manager at 248-929-9601.

  • Each patient’s diagnosis is different, so together with your referring physician, your therapist will develop a plan of care that is right for you. Your plan of care and number of visits will be determined during your first visit and explained to you by your physical therapist.

  • Dress comfortably with clothes that allow easy access for the therapist to examine your problem areas. For treatments, loose fitting clothes that are comfortable for gentle exercises and supportive sneakers are often good choices to wear.
