Dr. Doug Johnson graduated from Wayne State University in 2004 with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy (MPT). After 5 years of practice, he decided to go back to further his education at Oakland University for a two-year residency program and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (OMPT) in 2011. He then went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Oakland University in 2013.
Doug is passionate about the profession and is consistently refining his skills and knowledge to better treat his patients. He has completed certifications in dry needling, blood flow restriction training (BFRT), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) level 1 and level 2, and Functional Movement system (FMS). He is certified by Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) for Golf Therapy in level 1 and medical level 2 (M2).
